Computer Sciences Corp. and Hitachi Data Systems have agreed to expand their strategic partnership in an effort to help enterprises adopt cloud-based digital platforms designed to accelerate business processes.
CSC and HDS will jointly provide clients with the CSC BizCloud tool equipped with the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform, SAP‘s Hana in-memory data management platform and storage-as-a-service offerings, CSC said Tuesday.
CSC BizCloud powered by Hitachi’s UCP is an integrated management tool that works to help companies migrate to enterprise-grade hybrid cloud environments through a single platform.
Dave Zolet, executive vice president and general manager of CSC’s Americas region, said the joint offerings through the CSC-HDS alliance seek to “help enterprise clients leverage the power of their data to create economic value.â€
CSC has also signed a multi-year reseller agreement with HDS that would allow the latter to offer the CSCÂ Agility Platform to corporate clients.
The CSC Agility Platform works to help enterprises expedite adoption of cloud services and move business applications to the cloud.
