A team comprised of CGI Federal and Wynyard Group has been awarded a contract by the Interior Department to install an enterprise risk management platform at DOI’s Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement.
Wynyard said Friday its Risk Management software will be hosted on a cloud-based information technology infrastructure CGI developed for the department as part of a contract awarded in 2013.
CGI Federal is one of 10 awardees on the potential 10-year, $1 billion contract to provide data center consolidation, file transfer and IT infrastructure support services to DOI.
Derek Brown, Wynyard regional vice president, said the partnership aims to help BSEE automate the bureau’s process for managing risks.
BSEE seeks to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate internal and external risks to the bureau through data gathering and analysis, Wynward noted.
Wynward’s Risk Management software is designed to help government departments, financial services providers or organizations to document and manage risks, controls, loss events and key risk indicators as well as generate scheduled or on-demand reports.
