Booz Allen Hamilton has received a five-year, $33.9 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from NASA to help the space agency’s Ames Research Center manage voluntary air and rail incident reporting programs.
The company said said Monday it will assist Ames Research Center in efforts to operate and maintain the Aviation Safety Reporting System and Close Call Reporting System.
Booz Allen will also work to analyze incidents and data hazard reports and data collected through ASRS and C3RSÂ systems.
“Having supported the ASRS since 2004, we are thrilled to have been chosen for this engagement,” said Paul Chi, a Booz Allen vice president.
Chi added that the company will also leverage its knowledge in areas such as data security and safety hazard report management in support of NASA’s efforts to increase safety in the aviation and rail sectors.
