A subsidiary of BAE Systems has received a contract from Denmark’s defense acquisition and logistics organization to modernize Denmark’s fleets of 44 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles and BV206 all-terrain vehicles.
BAE Systems Hagglunds will also provide prototyping, systems integration, safety, maintenance, repair and overhaul services under the contract, the company said Thursday.
The subsidiary will collaborate with Denmark-based industrial partners on the project.
CV90 is designed for high tactical and strategic mobility, air defense, anti-tank missions and high survivability and lethality operations.
BAE said seven European nations, including four NATO members, have deployed more than 1,280 CV90 vehicles.
