VSE Corp. has been awarded a $28 million task order to help the U.S. Army maintain and update software systems and integrate data as part of the service branch’s Data Framework Initiative.
VSE’s Akimeka LLC subsidiary will lead a team comprised of The Informatics Applications Group and Enterprise Information Services to provide support for the Army Analytics Group, VSE said Monday.
Maurice Gauthier, VSE CEO, president and chief operating officer, said the company formed a team of information technology professionals to help fulfill the government customer’s mission requirements.
The order, awarded through the National Institutes of Health’s Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners contract vehicle, contains one base year and four option years.
Fifty-four companies won spots on the potential $20 billion CIO-SP3 governmentwide contract in May 2012.
