Todd Porter, former vice president for business development at G2 Partners, has joined Geospatial Corporation as president of the company’s newly established energy services division in Houston, Texas.
The company said Monday Porter has worked in the energy industry for more than three decades and has held executive leadership, business development and project management roles.
“Todd will be a huge asset to our strong focus on the energy market,” said Mark Smith, Geospatial Corporation chairman and CEO.
“I am excited to help launch our Google for Work technology partnership and provide the energy markets the software and technologies to manage our critical underground infrastructure,” Porter noted.
Porter has helped oil and gas companies to manage strategies for underground pipeline and infrastructure risk mitigation.
He has worked at OneBridge Solutions, New Century Software and GeoDZ Inc.
