Alexandria, Virginia-based software company Spider Strategies has secured a potential five-year, $42 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army to support the military branch’s office of business transformation.
The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will offer its services to the OBT’s Strategic Management Support Program Office through August 3, 2021.
The Army Contracting Command has awarded the contract through a solicitation with one bid received and will determine funds and work location upon issuance of each  task order.
The OBT‘s objectives are to develop policies and strategies, maintain objective governance, promote best business practices and facilitate systems across the Army to meet readiness objectives and drive management techniques and processes.
Spider Strategies aims to create easy-to-use web-based tools through an integration of experiences from customers and industry partners in a push to be recognized as a software performance management tools market leader.
