The Broadcasting Board of Governors has awarded Par Technology a five-year, $13.8 million contract for operations and maintenance support to the Robert E. Kamosa Transmitting Station located in the Northern Mariana Islands.
PAR subsidiary Rome Research Corp. will work to transmit U.S. government-backed news programs such as Voice of America and Radio Free Asia as well as maintain the station’s equipment and facilities, the company said Tuesday.
