Motorola Solutions has received a potential five-year, $9.1 million contract to install and maintain land mobile radio systems at two NASA-run facilities.
NASA said Friday the firm-fixed-price contract has a base term of one year and four option years worth approximately $1.8 million and contains indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity components valued at approximately $7.3 million.
The company will field and maintain LMR P25 two-way radio systems at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia and Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland in support of the operations of the agency’s facilities management division, protective services division and first responders.
The contract’s IDIQ component calls for the contractor to install and maintain LMR P25 platforms at other NASA installations.
Motorola Solutions will perform work from Sept. 1, 2016 through Aug. 31, 2021.
