Modern Technology Solutions Inc. has won a potential three-year, $9 million contract to design, prototype and test an integrated threat characterization system for the Missile Defense Agency.
The cost-reimbursement contract covers data verification, environmental and contextual classification, data exploitation and association, and cognitive fusion framework in support of the development of the Robust Adaptive Threat Characterization system, the Defense Department said Thursday.
MDA awarded the contract through a competitive procurement process via FedBizOpps and will obligate $2.9 million in research, development, test and evaluation funds for fiscal 2016.
DoD said MTSI will perform work in Huntsville, Alabama, through July 27, 2019.
