Mission Secure Inc. has rebranded itself as “MSi” and launched a new website in an effort to reflect the Virginia-based cyber defense firm’s expanded market scope.
The company said Thursday it offers critical assets, infrastructure, processes and controls systems protection technology and support services to the defense and commercial sectors.
“Many industries rely on [operational technology] and control systems to run their operations,” said David Drescher, MSi CEO.
“MSi is engaging with a number of diverse organizations that recognize the need to be better prepared for such attacks, including both military and commercial entities,” Drescher added.
The company originally developed its Secure Sentinel Platform for military customers to protect critical platforms such as ships and unmanned aerial vehicles against security threats.
MSi now markets the technology to the oil and gas, power, chemical industries in a push to help industrial customers manage security of control systems and critical processes.
