Military.com and Citi have partnered to launch a free mobile application that works to assist members of the U.S. armed forces through their transition into civilian life.
Military.com said Thursday the Transition app is designed to feature an interactive checklist and a notification system that works to alert users on upcoming tasks and military paperwork.
“Our veterans are accessing more of the information they want on mobile devices and we felt it was crucial to make our tools available in a mobile format,” said Military.com President Greg Smith.
Transition aims to aid users through the areas of employment, finances, relocation, transition requirements, education and veteran benefits, the organization added.
The app also works to tailor its service based on the military experience of the user, while Citi’s military and veteran support initiative Citi Salutes sponsored the app which is available on Google Play and iTunes,.
