UltiSat has received a subcontract from Lockheed Martin to provide aerial data collection, ground-based processing, exploitation and dissemination support services to the U.S. Army.
The two companies will collaborate to support the Army’s Sensor Systems-Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance program under a potential $733 million task order the military branch awarded in June, UltiSat said Thursday.
UltiSat noted its ISR services team will work to help Lockheed manage and run the aerial reconnaissance support team, intelligence analyst and network communications for the program at various Army locations globally.
The Army awarded the SS-AISR task order to Lockheed’s services segment through the Rapid Response 3rd Generation contract vehicle.
The order contains one base year and two one-year options that could extend work through March 2019.
