A Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman joint venture has received a potential $38.4 million firm-fixed-price contract to supply radar electronic units for lot 7 AH-64 Apache attack helicopters of the U.S. Army.
The Defense Department said Thursday it expects Longbow LLC to complete work under the firm-fixed-price contract by July 31, 2019.
The Army Contracting Command received one offer for the contract through an online-based solicitation and will provide funds and performance locations upon award of each task order.
Longbow is the producer of Hellfire fire-and-forget radio frequency missiles and Fire Control Radar systems for the Apache program.
