Imagine One Technology & Management has been awarded a $33.6 million task order from the U.S. Navy to support the military branch’s maritime maintenance enterprise sustainment and modernization effort.
The company will help Navy personnel engineer, test and evaluate hardware and software information technology systems as well as provide hardware design, procurement assistance, system integration, data center operations support and IT facility management services, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Work also covers support services for the programming, testing, training, implementation and operation of shore-based maintenance systems managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command, DoD added.
The task order was awarded through the SeaPort-e contract vehicle and contains an option that, if exercised, will increase the total value of the company’s contract to nearly $175 million.
Imagine One will perform the task in Virginia and Washington as well as at various shore maintenance facilities of the Navy through July 2017.
The Naval Sea Systems Command received 14 bids for the task order and obligated $5.1 million at the time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds.
Colonial Beach, Virginia-based Imagine One provides program management, test and evaluation, cyber engineering services, training and logistics services to the federal sector.
