The American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council has appointed Judith Douglas, a client industry executive at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as vice chair of the council’s Institute for Innovation Advisory Board.
The institute seeks to utilize thought leadership in information technology to support government missions, as well as oversee projects designed to address issues through government and industry collaboration, ACT-IAC said Wednesday.
“[Douglas]Â has built an impressive career of public, non-profit and private sector experience focused on improving the performance of government, largely through effective leadership and innovative approaches with information technology,” said Dave McClure, IAC executive chair and Veris Group chief strategist.
Andrew Robinson, Institute for Innovation Advisory Board chair and Robbins Gioia chief operations officer, noted that Douglas has provided leadership experience to ACT-IAC and helped conceptualize the institute in 2012.
Among the Institute for Innovation Advisory Board’s programs are the Igniting Innovation awards, National Innovation Initiative and presidential transition papers.
