The General Services Administration has issued a request for information on behalf of the Unified Shared Services Management organization about new systems that can help modernize the delivery of the federal payroll.
GSA said Friday USSM and the Office of Personnel Management seek industry partners that can provide information on payroll delivery systems in support of the government’s ongoing ePayroll initiative.
“This kind of collaboration across the government shows our ability to achieve economies of scale and reduce duplicative investments,” said Beth Angerman, USSM executive director.
An RFI posted Friday on the FedBizOpps website as part of market research aims to identify parties with the interest and resources to support the federal payroll management project.
The notice stated that individual gross and net pay calculation is the focus of the project.
