DCS Corp. has secured a $7.9 million delivery order from the U.S. Air Force to provide software development and integration services to help create a joint mission planning system for the service branch’s KC-46A tanker aircraft.
The company said Thursday the delivery order was awarded through the Air Force’s Mission Planning Enterprise Contract II that covers aircraft mission planning systems for the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.
DCS added its mission planning department will perform work at DCS offices in Nashua, New Hampshire and Lexington Park, Maryland through a two-year period.
The Boeing-built KC-46A Pegasus aircraft works to carry passengers, cargo and patients as well as refuel U.S., allied and coalition military aircraft.
