Cynthia Niekamp, a former PPG Industries senior vice president, and Daniel Heinrich, former The Clorox Company executive vice president and chief financial officer, have joined Ball Corporation‘s board of directors.
“They share our values, and the breadth of their industry, operational and financial experience is the perfect complement to our current board makeup as we continue to position Ball for long-term success,” Ball Chairman and CEOÂ John Hayes said in a company statement issued Thursday.
Niekamp has held a variety of leadership roles before she joined PPG Industries, including as BorgWarner‘s general manager of TorqTransfer Systems, chief financial officer at MeadWestvaco and other positions at TRW and General Motors.
She is a current member of the board of directors at Magna International.
Heinrich has served as Transamerica Finance‘s senior vice president and treasurer, Granite Management Company‘s treasurer and controller and First Nationwide Bank‘s chief accounting officer and controller prior to working with The Clorox Company for 11 years.
He currently serves on the board of directors at ARAMARK and Edgewell Personal Care Company.
