Cubic‘s global defense business segment has received a new $52 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to support rotational and pre-deployment training exercise at the service branch’s Joint Readiness Training Center.
The company said Monday it will continue to assist JRTC’s integration with U.S. and allied forces on training exercises through action-based and theater-specific operational environment scenarios such as situational training, live fire, force-on-force and integrated live virtual and constructive training.
“Cubic is committed to maintaining JRTC’s excellent reputation of offering realistic training to our warfighters and will continue to fulfill the Army’s requirements in providing mission readiness services to better prepare them for actual battlefields,â€Â Dave Buss, Cubic’s global defense business unit president.
The company will also work to provide added realism in the training scenarios through an expansion of role play and technical support for combat training instrumentation, battlefield effects, video and cultural role players.
