Comtech Telecommunications Corp. has received $7.6 million in order from the U.S. Army for a set of very small aperture terminal satellite systems.
The company booked the order in the fourth quarter of its 2016 fiscal year and funded orders to Comtech so far have totaled $49.5 million out of the $91.0 million contract ceiling under the Army’s Tactical Commercial Satellite Terminal program, Comtech said Tuesday.
Comtech’s government solutions segment will produce the Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Access Point VSAT satellite systems.
Comtech manufactures communications systems and services for government and commercial entities.
