Booz Allen HamiltonBooz Allen Hamilton has won a potential $26.4 million task order to exercise the first option year of a potential $66 million contract to provide enterprise management and technical support to the U.S. Navy information force’s shore modernization and integration directorate.

The Defense Department said July 25 the company will support the directorate’s work in enterprise architecture and operational transition planning, modernization of shore network and communications, standardization of the information technology service management process, cybersecurity and information technology portfolio management.

This latest award has a base value of $13.2 million, the department added.

Booz Allen will perform services in Suffolk, Virginia, through August 2017 with a possibility of extending until August 2020 if all options are exercised.

Naval Supply Systems Command’s Fleet Logistics Center in Norfolk will finance individual task orders from the Navy’s fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds, DoD said.

The contract was awarded through a FedBizOpps solicitation that garnered two bids.
