Boeing has received a four-year, $10.2 million delivery order to provide distributed targeting system kits and operational test program sets for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler jets of the U.S. Navy and Australia.
The Defense Department said Monday the company will manufacture 218 DTS A kits, 31 OPT sets and 20 fiber optic interface test sets.
Boeing will execute the order in St. Louis, Missouri, through August 2020.
The Navy guaranteed the order’s full amount at the time of award from its fiscal 2014, 2015 and 2016 aircraft procurement and foreign military sales funds.
Boeing designed the DTS kits to help Super Hornet aircrews gain situational data and engage ground targets.
