The U.S. Army has awarded World Wide Technology a $7.9 million contract to deliver data storage hardware and software and provide maintenance and professional implementation services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
World Wide Technology will work to replace the obsolete data storage items at all relevant USACEÂ sites, the Defense Department said Friday.
DoD added that the company will conduct services in Maryland and is expected to complete the project by March 31, 2017.
The Army Corps of Engineers obligated the full amount from its fiscal 2016 “other” funds for the contract.
