Unisys has received approval from the National Security Agency and NSA’s partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology to make a company-made enterprise information technology security platform available to government agencies.
The company said Monday it received certification under the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified program that allows federal agencies to buy and implement the Stealth software to help secure classified systems and data.
The National Information Assurance Partnership certified Stealth for compliance with international security standards and the certification is valid across 20 countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Malaysia, New Zealand and the U.K., the company added.
The U.K.-based Yorkshire Building Society Group entered into a five-year agreement to leverage Unisys’ technology as part of efforts to secure the organization’s customer data and comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
Unisys also partnered with security intelligence and analytics firm LogRhythm to integrate the latter company’s security intelligence services into the Stealth platform and the former’s global network of security operations centers.
