CenturyLink has been awarded a potential six-year, $29 million contract to help the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency develop and manage a disaster recovery program for the agency’s mission-critical systems.
The company said Monday it will also support the program’s testing, security, compliance, configuration management, emergency operations and documentation requirements.
“CenturyLink is pleased to provide the OCC with disaster recovery services that will help the agency that oversees our nation’s banking system maintain continuity of operations in the event of an emergency,” said Tim Meehan, senior vice president and general manager of CenturyLink’s federal business.
The contract has one base year and five option years.
