TIBCO Software Inc. has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for the company’s social enterprise collaboration platform after it completed the government’s security assessment process for cloud offerings.
The tibbr 7 platform works to help organizations collaborate with vendors, customers and partners as well as assess collaboration activities through social analytics, TIBCO said Tuesday.
“We’re delighted to announce our FedRAMP certification as it marks one of the highest security achievements in the industry,†noted Mark Palmer, senior vice president and general manager of analytics engineering at TIBCO.
“Security is increasingly important in today’s ever-connected world, especially when dealing with sensitive information shared over social collaboration platforms,” Palmer added.
The tool is designed to operate on premises or in cloud environments and integrate with other applications, mobile ecosystems and websites.
Tibbr 7 features external community, custom analytics via TIBCO Spotfire and integration tools.
