Sakor Technologies will deliver two AC motoring dynamometers to Lockheed Martin‘s space systems business to support the research, development, quality control and design validation of Lockheed’s aerospace projects.
Sakor said Wednesday its Accudyne dynamometers are designed to test components for deep space missions, serve as independent test systems or work in a group of up to four dynamometers to test different components under similar conditions and inside the same chamber.
Accudyne also features 4-quadrant operation that offers transition between loading and motoring modes as well as Sakor’s DynoLAB control system that works to automate all types of test cycles in performance, durability and quality control tests, Sakor added.
The test instrumentation systems manufacturer delivered two earlier versions of dynamometer systems to Lockheed in 2012 to aid the test of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite – R-Series.
