Science Applications International Corp. has received a three-month, $53.5 million contract modification for chemical and petroleum products logistics support to the Defense Logistics Agency.
The Defense Department said Thursday the modification represents an extension to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that contains a five-year base period and one five-year option.
SAIC will execute the task in New Jersey through Oct. 14, 2017 for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.
DLA used its fiscal 2007 through fiscal 2018 defense working capital funds to procure the services.
