A Raytheon subsidiary has signed a three-year agreement with New England Die Cutting as part of the Missile Defense Agency‘s mentor-protégé program.
NEDC said Tuesday that Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems will provide business advice with a focus on quality assurance, business development, branding, cybersecurity, manufacturing operations and engineering to help upgrade the NEDC’s engineering and technology services, business infrastructure and business development.
Raytheon will work with Bethune-Cookman University to train NEDC personnel to obtain key credentials, the woman-owned company added.
Kimberly Abere, NEDC president, said that the agreement will support the company’s effort to expand its technical and management services.
The MDA mentor-protégé program is designed to help small businesses to participate in federal subcontracts through the guidance of prime contractors.
