droneNorthrop Grumman and Triumph Group have signed a memorandum of agreement at the Farnborough International Air Show in an effort to increase the production rate of high-altitude unmanned aircraft systems.

The agreement calls for the two companies to collaborate on UAS delivery, knowledge transfer and program quality and affordability initiatives, Triumph said Tuesday.

Dan Crowley, Triumph president and CEO, said the partnership seeks to invest in tools and talent to manage production schedule, quality and cost of UAS.

A team of Northrop mechanics, engineers and support staff will help Triumph in efforts to achieve UAS wing production objectives, Triumph added.

The MoU builds on the two companies’ long-term agreement that seeks to execute numerous systems through 2026.
