Metalogix has appointed Charlie Hopkins — former account manager at IBM‘s federal software group — as federal civilian sales director and Gary Herman — a senior director of sales and business development at WORX Technologies — as senior partner account manager.
The Washington-headquartered cloud management software provider said Tuesday Hopkins and Herman will support Metalogix’ expansion efforts in the public sector marketplace.
“With more than 20 years of federal sales and account management experience and proven success in both the [Defense Department] and civilian market segments, Charlie will be invaluable to driving these efforts forward for the company,” said Tod Tompkins, ‎vice president of Metalogix’ public sector business.
“[We] look forward to having Gary harness his sales and partner experience to further expand our partner portfolio,” Tompkins added.
Hopkins will oversee the sales lifecycle of Metalogix’ unified management software within federal agencies and manage customer and business partner relationships under his new role.
The eight-year U.S. Navy veteran previously handled DoD accounts as account manager at Oracle and Unisys.
In his new role, Herman will manage Metalogix’s base of government partners and form industry relationships to support contract opportunities for the company.
Herman previously fostered partner engagement for WORX Technologies, Affigent, IBM, NIC Commerce and Northrop Grumman.
