The Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded three cooperative agreements worth a total of $11.2 million to ICF International to support the department’s technical assistance and capacity building program.
ICF said Wednesday it will provide various services in support of the Community Compass program, manage the HUD Exchange platform, support group and self-directed learning among grantees and help public and nonprofit agencies implement programs.
“The support we provide through Community Compass is core to the mission of ICF’s community development program: to help neighborhoods and communities grow and thrive,” said Andy Zehe, an ICF International vice president.
He added the company has worked with HUDÂ and other community-focused organizations for nearly 30 years.
HUD has appropriated approximately $58 million to fund the Community Compass program designed to help customers address housing and community development issues through the implementation of HUD programs and policies.
