ViaSat, a global broadband services and technology company, and mainframe-dedicated software provider Compuware  have joined CompTIA‘s Space Enterprise Council and State and Local Government and Education Council respectively.
CompTIA said Monday that the two companies are the newest members of its Public Sector Councils.
Peter Kaminskas, CompTIA member relations vice president, said Compuware’s experience working with local public sector agencies and CIOs will help to provide insight into customer’s demands for government IT services.
He added that whereas ViaSat’s knowledge in the space industry will support the U.S. standing in the space market.
