CGI has unveiled a new records management platform meant to help government agencies meet the White House’s target dates for the government-wide electronic records management modernization directive.
The company said Monday its Records Management as a Service offering is based on OpenText‘s Content Suite platform and Microsoft‘s Azure Government cloud computing system.
CGI added it designed RMaaS to meet the Defense Department‘s electronics records management standard and works to aid compliance with the Managing Government Records directive.
Rich Bissonette, vice president for emerging technologies of CGI’s federal business, said RMaaS aims to support the government’s cloud-first and mobile-first strategies.
CGI noted its enterprise content and records management practice offers records management strategy, policy and metadata taxonomy development, maintenance and support.
