Carahsoft Technology has included Virtustream‘s suite of enterprise-grade cloud software products and services on three contracting vehicles managed by the General Services Administration, NASA and the U.S. Army.
Carahsoft said Tuesday it will begin to market Virtustream offerings to agencies through the GSA Schedule as well as NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and the Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions–Software vehicles.
“We are excited to expand our cloud computing portfolio with Virtustream’s FedRAMP certified cloud services,” said Craig Abod, president of Carahsoft Technology.
Virtustream’s cloud services and xStream cloud management platform are designed to also comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act, Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health/Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
The company also offers a pricing model through the Virtustream uVM technology designed to allow users to pay for their actual compute, memory, network and storage resources consumption.
