CACI International has received a three-year, $60.7 million task order to modernize a set of information technology systems the U.S. Navy uses to manage the military branch’s supply chain and logistics activities ashore and afloat.
The company said Thursday it will provide life cycle development and engineering services for the Naval Tactical Command Support System modernization effort.
NTSS is designed to support 250,000 personnel at more than 1,000 Navy facilities.
Ken Asbury, CACI’s president and CEO, said the company aims to help the Defense Department manage IT systems designed to help the country’s military fleet supplied and equipped.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic awarded the order through the Business and Force Support Pillar contract vehicle.
The order represents continued work for CACI’s business systems group.
