The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a $27.1 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide Mission Training Center services with company-built simulation equipment.
Boeing’s defense, space and security business will provide simulation technology designed to train F-15C and F-15E pilots and weapons system operators, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Work will occur at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, Kadena Air Base in Japan and Royal Air Force Lakenheath Air Base in England through June 30, 2017.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center obligated the full contract amount from its fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds.
