Accutype Services has received certification to deliver medical transcription services to the federal government under the General Services Administration‘s Schedule 36 contract.
The woman-owned company said Tuesday its medical transcription offering is registered on the GSA Advantage electronic ordering system.
Deborah Walton, Accutype Services operations manager, said the contract works to open new markets for the company and expand its services beyond the state of Virginia to the Department of Veterans Affairs and other government-operated healthcare centers.
She added that the company’s medical transcription services are available at fixed government pricing.
Accutype Services is a woman-owned small business based in Charlottesville, Virginia.
