QTS Realty Trust will host Georgia Hospital Associationâ€™s information technology systems through the companyâ€™s Atlanta-Metro data center under an agreement between QTS and GHA.
QTS provides data center migration and managed hosting services in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability ActÂ and the HealthÂ Information Technology for Economic and ClinicalÂ HealthÂ Act, the company said Thursday.
Brandon Hargrett, vice president and chief information officer of GHA, said GHA has already completed the migration phase and has begun to use QTSâ€™ customer portal in order to facilitate access and administrative processes.
GHA is a nonprofit trade group consists of 170 hospitals and health systems in Georgia.
QTS also unveiled in May its Healthcare Community Cloud, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform designed for use by healthÂ organizations.
