Progress Electric has landed a potential $45 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide a range of base engineering services at Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina.
The Defense Department said Wednesday the contract covers management, labor, equipment, transportation and design support for maintenance, repair and construction work.
Progress Electric will perform work through June 28, 2021, at airfield, research and development, waterfront, medical, academic, administrative, institutional, industrial and other facilities, DoD added.
The contract was awarded through a competitive procurement with 10 offers received.
The 628th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Charleston will obligate $1,000 at the time of the award from fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds.
