Northrop Grumman and NEC Corp. have worked to deploy a private, cloud-based cyber range system in the country as part of efforts to help customers create a testing and training environment.
The J-CORTEX is designed to imitate situations to prepare cyber professionals to detect and effectively deal with cyber threats, Northrop Grumman said Wednesday.
Jack Dorsett, Northrop chief executive for Japan, said the team seeks to offer Japan cyber operations research, training and experimentation tools.
Northrop, NEC and Mitsubishi will work to offer professionals new cyber defense methods and resources to secure government networks against attacks.
