Noel Allender, formerly Jacobus Consulting senior managing director for delivery services, has been named as the new managing director of Leidos‘ Epic practice.
Allender will handle sales and business expansion opportunities for professional services and health IT consulting and drive collaboration with business leaders and partners in service delivery, Leidos said Tuesday.
“Noel has a fruitful track record of leading, facilitating, and implementing major systems and initiatives that drive growth and generate new business,” said Jon Scholl, president of Leidos’ health and infrastructure group.
Allender, who is Epic certified, has also previously served as a Beacon Partners senior consultant and a member of the NorthShore Health System Epic implementation project team.
Leidos’ Epic practice employs more than 600 consultants who work to deliver Epic healthcare IT technology through the combination of system design, build and validation.
