Munro Enterprises will market and distribute a Skyline Medical-built automated fluid disposal system to government-run healthcare facilities under a reseller agreement.
The deal gives Munro exclusive rights to offer Skyline’s Streamway medical technology to potential federal customers such as the departments of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs and Defense, Skyline Medical said Friday.
Dave Johnson, chief operating officer of Skyline Medical, said he believes introducing the platform will offer a method for healthcare personnel at government hospitals to safely dispose of waste fluids collected during medical procedures.
Munro Enterprises President and CEO Julia Munro said Streamway, added that Streamway is approved by the Food and Drug Administration and designed to comply with Veterans Health Administration‘s medical waste management policies.
Streamway connects directly to a hospital’s plumbing system and works to help clinicians collect, measure and dispose of medical fluids, according to Skyline.
