Mike Raymond, a 37-year government information technology market veteran and former senior vice president atÂ Dynanet Corp., has joinedÂ Octo Consulting Group as chief strategy officer of the Tysons Corner, Virginia-based digital services provider.
He will oversee Octo Consulting’s business development and growth strategies in his new position andÂ will report directly to CEO and founder Mehul Sanghani, the companyÂ said Monday.
“Mikeâ€™s unparalleled business development track record and experience, combined with his ability to capitalize on our core competencies in system modernization and digital services, make him the ideal addition to our leadership team,” said Sanghani.
RaymondÂ most recently led Dynanet’s BD andÂ capture functions and previously served asÂ executive VP and chief strategy officerÂ atÂ AcentiaÂ after theÂ technology and management services contractorÂ bought 2020 Company in 2012 and before AcentiaÂ was acquired by Maximus in 2015.
He held the role of chief strategy officer during his time withÂ 2020 Company.
He also spent 28 years at Computer Sciences Corp., where he ledÂ the company’s federalÂ healthcare business as VP of that unit as well asÂ managedÂ CSC’sÂ work with federal agenciesÂ such as theÂ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,Â NASAÂ and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
