San Ramon, California-based cloud-based productivity and civic engagement provider Accela has introduced a new online and in-person modern payment platform for government agencies, the company announced June 21.
Maury Blackman, Accela president and CEO, wrote in a blog post that CivicPay is designed to communicate and understand government demand and address potential gaps in the market such as Civic Platform strategy integration.
Blackman noted the CivicPay platform features help the management of the payment reconciliation process, offers online payments from any device and real-time integration with the Civic Platform and Citizen Access for online payments.
Accela provides asset management, legislative management, citizen relationship management, licensing, environmental health, recreation and resource management, finance and land management services to government agencies.
