Marc-Andre Giger, formerly director of public sector and health at PwC Switzerland, has joined KPMG as head of the public sector in Switzerland, effective June 1.
Giger will succeed Armin Haymoz in the role and will serve the auditing firm’s public sector customers through its office in Bern, Switzerland, KPMG said Monday.
Prior to PwC, Giger previously served as managing director of the Swiss Olympic association and director of Santesuisse, an association of Switzerland-based health insurance firms, for more than a decade.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Basel and an executive MBA degree from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
