Communications network technology design and engineering company Klas Telecom has changed the name of its subsidiary Klas Telecom Services in a move to emphasize the unit’s work with U.S. public sector clients.
The organization rebranded as Klas Telecom Government and will continue to offer communications product design and support, integration, sales and training services to government and Defense Department agencies, Klas Telecom said Friday.
“It’s important for us to communicate that distinction to our customers and prospects,” noted David Huisenga, Klas Telecom Government president and CEO.
The subsidiary also relocated from Reston to Herndon, Virginia in response to DoD’s wider adoption of company-built Voyager deployable networking technology platforms.
Klas Telecom noted the Defense Information Systems Agency added the VoyagerECK data communications suite to the agency’s list of products approved for use across the DoD network infrastructure.
