Infor has partnered with Amazon Web Services as the New York-based enterprise software company aims to obtain Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification to offer a cloud-based software suite to government agencies.
The agreement allows Infor to host its CloudSuite Public Sector offering on AWS’ GovCloud (US) as well as receive guidance from cloud technology consulting and implementation services provider Day1 Solutions, an AWS Partner Network member, Infor said Monday.
Kratos Defense and Security Solutions will serve as Infor’s adviser throughout the FedRAMP certification process, according to Infor.
“Through this process we will gain best practices that we can then apply to any of our global customers that look towards FedRAMP as the cloud compliance standard,” noted Wayne Bobby, vice president of Infor’s federal business.
