Former NASA Chief Dan Goldin Launches Neural Tech Company Called KnuEdge

Dan Goldin, a former NASA chief, launched a new San Diego, California-based company called KnuEdge that provides neural computing technology for the aerospace, banking, healthcare, hospitality and insurance sectors.

KnuEdge said June 6 that it has also developed a new military-grade voice recognition and authentication technology called KnuVerse that works to utilize human-voice interfaces in next-generation computing.

The company’s KNUPATH LambaFabric technology works to support neural computing and support up to 512,000 devices.

“KnuEdge is emerging out of stealth mode to aim its new voice and machine learning technologies at key challenges in [Internet of Things], cloud-based machine learning and pattern recognition,” said Paul Teich, Tirias Research principal analyst.

KnuVerse was designed for developers and companies that seek voice-machine interfaces and offers patented authentication techniques to provide human voice biometrics security for computers, web/mobile apps and IOT devices.

KnuEdge offers voice authentication and recognition, cloud-based application programming interfaces and technology as well as computing architecture for its industry partners.
